29 July 2007 ? Results and Photos from the Mid?Summer Show

The weather that had damaged homes and property over the whole of the UK also seriously affected the Mid-Summer National Rose Show at Weston Park. The grounds at Weston Park were very wet which made vehicular access to the show difficult enough on its own and the rain in the days (and weeks) before the show really challenged the exhibitors but once again they managed to produce a fine display for the many visitors to the show.

Paul Evans staged  this bowl of roses which was judged Best Cluster Flowered exhibit in the show

Ivor Mace from Treorchi managed to find 12 Large flowered roses to produce this excellent exhibit which was judges Best Large Flowered exhibit.. The bowl featured varieties Gemini, 4 Sweetheart Shelley, 2 Bernice Cooper, 2 Wimi, 2 Selfridges and a Debbie Thomas
