News from the AGM Sunday 16th October 2011The AGM was held at the Quality Hotel 232-236 London Road St Albans on Sunday 16th October 2011 Bernard Williams was installed as the new President of the Royal National Rose Society. In his first address as President he said he was looking forward to a challenging year ahead where his priorities would be to get the Society on a sound financial footing. He hopes to make better use of our wonderful new rose garden which is improving year-on-year under the stewardship of Head Gardener Andy Godly. Bernard's vision is to re-establish the socirty into its rightful place as the leading specialist plant society. Bernard closed by thanking the members that continue to support the Society as he looks forward to adding his contribution to support all activities in the year ahead |
